Soon, Amy and Lou's estranged father Tim (Chris Potter) shows up on the scene and becomes a part of their lives as well.
Their ranch hand Ty Borden (Graham Wardle) soon becomes like a member of the family and eventually, he and Amy get married. Lou marries Peter Morris (Gabriel Hogan) and they adopt a little girl named Georgie (Alisha Newton), who goes on to become a big help for Amy in her business of training troubled horses.
